I have heard about one-day ham radio classes previously from friends' stories. The sessions are usually short with superficial materials which are more or less enough to get you to pass the license exam. Several people seem to believe that it's better learning by doing than spending hours in preparation classes. What are your thoughts about it? Assuming I'm going to try taking the class, should I join two or three classes to get better content coverage?
